If the prospect of moving with children seems daunting, there are many ways to make the transition smoother. One key factor is pointing out all the fun activities available in the place you're headed. If Plymouth is your destination, you're in luck. In this historic town just south of Boston, there is an abundance of child-friendly activities to partake in. Whether you're seeking opportunities to explore nature or hoping for some all-weather enjoyment indoors, Light House Point has rounded up some of the best activities for kids in Plymouth.

Ultimate Battleground

USB Bourne is the ultimate outing for any kid, teen or adult that doesn't mind playing in the dirt and having fun. Featuring a 90-acre outdoor airsoft field with eight separate combat zones, guests can utilize wooden structures, interact with combat vehicles, and hide along valleys and hills. Airsoft uses biodegradable bullets that don't hurt when they hit. USB Bourne also offers tactical laser tag, paintball, and hosts birthday parties.

Edaville

Designed with kids in Plymouth age 2 to 12 in mind, Edaville has an assortment of rides and activities, many of which center around popular culture. For instance, guests can have a meet and greet with various characters at specific times of year, including Curious George, Hello Kitty and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Many of the entertainment focuses on Thomas the Train, where patrons are able to enjoy endless loops on the Thomas the Train ride, bounce on Cranky's Crane Ride, and take control of a helicopter on Harold's Lift Off.

Dead of Night Ghost Tours

For older kids in Plymouth and those who have a higher threshold for scary elements, there is the famous Dead of Night Ghost Tours. Learn the history of the town after the sun has gone down. Hear accounts of local paranormal activity as you stroll through some of the oldest streets in the United States. Some tours provide romps through haunted houses and through the cemetery as well.

Jungleplex

Offering three Springturf non-boarded fields spanning over 60,000 square feet in space, Jungleplex provides kids and adults alike a place to get their game on. The arena hosts team and pick-up games, including soccer, martial arts, flag football, baseball and lacrosse. They also host birthday parties and special events on the premises.

Plymouth Youth Development Collaborative

The PYDC provides resources and activities for parents, children and teens. Some classes offered include Baby & Me music classes and teen art classes.
Whether you're new to the area or a seasoned veteran, finding places to go with kids can be a challenge. Light House Point is pleased to be an important resource for families looking for unique activities to enjoy.
